Travelers Choice Awards recognize Quintana Roo as the best beaches

In a protocol ceremony, in which he was led by representatives of Travelers Choice Awards, in addition to the state's head of tourism, Bernardo Cueto and the Quintana Roo Tourism Promotion Council (CPTQ), Andrés Martínez Reynoso who also awarded Cancun, Playa del Carmen and Isla Mujeres for their quality beaches.

At the Playa del Carmen event, Mexico won the award as the best top destination, which ranked third in the country and the statuette was awarded to Estefanía Hernández, municipal tourism secretary.

Isla Mujeres was also recognized, which was awarded by Playa Norte as the second in the country and number 19 in the world as one of the most beautiful and cleanest in the state, the recognition was given to the municipal president Atenea Gómez Ricalde.

For its part, Cancun was also recognized with Playa Delfines, which ranked as the best beach in Mexico and ranked 16th worldwide, recognizing its great work in preserving public spaces for bathers, the recognition was given to Juan Pablo de Zulueta, head of municipal tourism.

It is worth mentioning that the title of the Travelers' Choice award — The Best of the Best celebrates the highest level of excellence in travel. It is awarded to those who receive a large volume of exceptional opinions and comments from the Tripadvisor community over a period of 12 months from the more than 8 million profiles that are held on the platform.
